Battle of the Albums “Curtis vs. Graduation Day”

Its looks like we’re about to see who really runs hip-hop right now. Rappers 50 Cent and Kanye West are both releasing their albums on September 11th. Kanye originally planned to release his third album Graduation Day on Sept. 18th to avoid a sales war with 50’s album Curtis. Interscope pushed 50’s Curtis album back from June 26 to Sept. 4th to now Sept. 11th because the rapper was not pleased with the response he was getting from his first two singles, “Straight to the Bank” and “Amusement Park”. Therefore he decided to go back in the lab and record eight new tracks not to mention giving his fans the 50 they’re used to with “I Get Money”. The “I Get Money” video has garnered so much buzz since its debut.

Now Kanye on the other hand has received a pleasurable response from his songs “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” and “Stronger” while he is also about to release his third single “The Good Life” with none other than T-Pain. The man whose voice makes everyones single a hit nowadays. A video for the song has reportedly already been shot.
